Flynn O'Carroll - color

Completed on 9-5-09. Done on sketched pad - sketch in pencil, then outlined in ink; colored with acrylic paints and water colors, then outline again and added detail to the face with pencil.

Made a huge mistake - used acrylic paints on a cheap sketch pad. When paint dried it cracked and started flaking. What a nightmare! Won't make that mistake again.

Drawing done for an online friend and talented writer, Carol W.'s Beauty and the Beast fan fiction story called 'Iron Behind The Velvet'. All her wonderful BatB stories are on her blog site 'Imagine That' at [link] Flynn is one of her original characters in her story. He's a tall Irish with black hair and blue eyes, in his early 30's, who works as a NYPD ESU sergeant.
